    Hello

I had a fully working copy of MP 1.02 which was configured with a few plugins. So I removed it completely and rebooted the PC. I ensured that all folders were removed from that previous install.

I then installed 1.02, no TV server required, and did not run the config.
I then installed the 1.1beta SVN:23908 build and it would crash at the config screen and not allow me to continue.

I completely removed MP and went through the same routine and the same error prevented me from configuring or running MP.

I removed again and this time installed 1.02 and checked to see if I could open the config screen and all was well. I did not configure any settings but just exited it.

I installed that SVN build again and the same error applied thus preventing me from configuring MP. Trying to run MP would also crash the application.

No plugins or anything other than the 1.02 of MP and the SVN noted was installed.

    Error logs attached.

Thanks for that. I ssumed after I read...

How to install MediaPortal SVN-Snapshots in short:

    1. Install latest MediaPortal version, not necessary if already done

that it meant the latest (1.02) version as it did not mention the beta one.

EDIT: I finally gave up trying to get the latest SVN stable and functional. Regardless of the H264 filter set it would stutter / stop playback really badly and or crash with a BSOD (nothing in the logs) and when playing back 24hz material and using the inbuilt auto refresh rate changer, it would change from 50hz to 25hz. For some reason it would never change to 24hz.

Gone back to 1.02, I hope to try the SVN on a PC that I can dedicate further testing to and not the HTPC, and all is perfectly well.
