    Another Vista problem then This OS is becoming annoying even though I don't use it

    Na, its just knowing where to look.

    Just wish more people would say using xp or vista in there posts, instead of playing the guessing game.

    Sorry Simone, thought you knew about the other mediaportal folder under Program Data.

    Cheers

    This need to be fixed in all MP/TV3 parts, becaus eit will be more than a FAQ in the future...

    I have my system specs readble to everyone ;-)

    I know there are many folders wher eto check, but the problem is "What I have to check ?"

    On any guide about xmltv there is a mention where is the .dtd file and the use of it.

    In any case as soon as I get home I will check RTV solution and report back...

    That was aimed at level20peon as a general comment, already read your specs, thats why i knew there was no dtd file in that folder. :D

    Either stop and restart TVService or reboot to make sure config changes take place.

    Can take a while for EPG to update database, max 30 minutes though

    Hi,
    Should be working just fine, just make sure channel names match each other & thats plugin it's enabled, then run webepg.exe & it should be imported a minute or two after that while TV it's not used (thats how it works here). TV.log will tell you that import it's done etc.....

    Regards
    Roy

    stop / start TV3 didn't help, but reboot fixed the issue.

    Also I found why my TV logos where not handled: again a path issue related to Vista.

    Is there something that can be done to have all Vista/XP cfg in the same %appdata% path ?

    This will avoid a lot of time loosed...

    Really thanks to all the three for your help...

    ronilse,

    I fixed the path issue with Vista, or at least I think to.

    Please change the xmltv path in line 86 of WebEPG-xmltv.cs.

    old code:

    xmltvDirectory = webepgDirectory + "\\xmltv\\";

    new code:

    xmltvDirectory = Environment.SpecialFolder.CommonApplicationData + "\\xmltv\\";

    Simone

    EDIT:

    This should also be updated as default on the xmltv plugin of TV3 obviously...
