To be honest and this is the bit that hurts, Vista has less problems with this card than XP does.

I would say 100% reliable Vista, 95% XP, it's just down to how the OS handles the drivers.

Remember this is a Dualboot setup, so hardware in my system.

Pictures good, much better than blah blah blah

So those are the settings i am using for TVServer, MP is a different matter but does not interfer with standby anyway.

Thanks for that !! 100% true, pics much better than blah blah blah :D

at the start i will not be using the suspend mode as my motherboard goes a bit crazy and sometimes it wakes without a reason, but i havent put much time to it either.

apart from suspend issues, this card is a good bet, right? i hope it will run with my amd 1400, i know the minimums are 1.7 but ill give it a try as only xp and mp are runing. (trying to setup tv server tv3)

    once again... :D

Compared to the Dvico Dual, which i used previously its much better at pulling in a weak signal, i get no pixelating\lost signal, unlike the Dvico.
Also have had no problems with any of the drivers hauppauge have supplied with the card, have had remote working with MP as well, just do not like it compared to the M$ remote.

once again...thanks for your opinion !!

about vista and xp i dont have a choice as i want to put it into an old computer and if i put vista then im sure it will not run smoothly. so until a new computer comes ill give it a go using xp...lets hope that it can handle that.

my plan is to run tv3 so i guess that when i get the card, hours will need to go into it to get everything right

    :D
