Unable to play....Video Codec AVC (1 Viewer)

Did you install, update, uninstall or configure anything at the time the problem started?

Not aware of anything really....system had run without probs for some time...

Does the problem only occur with MP4 files, or is it any video, live TV...?

......MKV files have the flashing prob.....some MP4's play only audio, and can't be stopped in the usual way (square stop icon!)

When I just went to TV...there was a message saying that live TV could not be shown....when I OK'd this and tried again...TV was OK.....and NO flashing on TV BTW.....only with Video!

....and yes....probs persist over system starts

OK...an update on the problem!
On startup....TV (and RecordedTV) is fine....as it should be....no flashing!!
Once I attempt to play certain .mp4 videos...these plays audio only...and won't stop.
Repeatedly pressing escape...results in MP 'not responding'

Debug mode won't work....so I've added recent logs again
