    Hi,

I have a quite similar problem.
I also have a TBS quad card (TBS 6984) and only Tuner A and B are working. Some days ago, everything was fine.
Did an upgrade to driver version 1.0.2.4 but there I only SEE A and B (C and D are gone?!)
Installing 1.0.2.3 reveales tuner C and D again.
    But still not working.
Also just tuner A and B can do a program scan. C and D are showing "NOTHING FOUND".

I have absolutely no idea :(
(Spent a few hours to try to solve ...)

Maybe the tv card is broken? How can I test the card with its 4 tuners without mediaportal?

    Thanks

Seems I spoke too soon, upgraded drivers which cured it for one boot, next the tuners dissapeared from TV setup or were not recognised - so I deleted them and rebooted, they came back but as cards 9 -12 and MEPO could not tune into any channels saying 'no spare cards'. So I decided to start from scratch again - reinstalled TV server, scanned channels ok, but MEPO would complain about not being able to play 'live.ts.tsbuffer' - so I reinstalled MEPO. Actually, each time i get a working build I use Macrium reflect to image the drive so just reimaged my client back to an earlier image. Things are working ok up to now.

    Hi,

I also did a complete reinstall of windows 7 and mediaportal. Now, there are all 4 tuners.

I made a backup of the old installation, too (of course). :)

I had a similar problem with a double DVB-S twin tuner setup (Digital Devices DuoFlex). I am using an LNB with internal Unicable router. It turned out that the cable was about 3 meters to long to ensure good power supply. The signal was brilliant, only power was the problem.
As a long shot, I substituted the LNB by another one with slightly better specs. Now, everything is working fine.

I used some of these NASA test devices to get on to the power things.

Thanks helloh. Another users has a problem with his card - live TV freezes after setting another channel to record. After investigation on my setup I seem to have a similar problem too. TBS say they know about it and it is an MP problem only.
