:D The scan on PMT timeout will help with those unexpected changes that the cable company like to slip in.

As for the other "random" problem, I'll continue to try to track down maybe with something like ProcessMonitor that may allow me to capture the events as they happen if I can just find the correct tirgger to stop logging before I lose the problem event

If you are using the Latest SVN give this TSWriter a whirl and let me know if it solves your problems.

Am I right in thinking that this needs to be compiled into a version of TSWriter and is not an executable? I presume for 1.1 rather than 1.0.x?

My only concern is that the set of users who run and can rebuild from SVN updates and the set of users seeing the problem might not have much overlap! Is there any chance of making it an executable (although I realise that there might be version mismatch issues) so that more people can test it?

Thanks for the effort to date in trying to fix a problem that only a few people seem to see,

Stop the TV Server.

Navigate to your TV Server directory.
Copy your Original TSWriter.ax to a safe place.
Put the new one from the in the TV Server directory.

Start the TV server.

Thanks for the effort. I'm currently on 1.0.2. I did try the TSWriter file on the off chance it would work, but no dice. I'll try again after I update to the latest version. Thanks again

It does need the newest SVN as there are changes in the TV Library too.

Understood - didn't realise that the .ax format was directly usable.

Unfortunately I'm away for a few weeks and won't have time to test this patch before I go, but really look forward to hearing great things about it when I return!

Works much better!

I have had similar problems, scanning for channels with my dvb-s2 card returned "no signal" for all transponders and when importing an old channel list and tuning sometimes worked the first time after a reboot but never again util another reboot.
However, after reinstalling a clean MP 1.1.0 with the latest svn and the new Tswriter.ax, I am able to do a full channel scan and I am finding all my channels and only getting "no signal" where it is suppose to be. Also, tuning channels seem to work fine, only a few "unable to start graph/ timed out waiting for pmt" but it might be on channels that I might not be able to receive, I haven't sorted the channel list after the scan so I'm not sure. :) However, tuning the same channel serveral times work every time now... :) even when tuned other channels inbetween...

Thanks a lot! :D

Here are my logs if you are intrested...

Thanks for this information.

The channels that you have tried are Poker Channel and Speranta TV. Do these channels broadcast 24/7?
