Hi,

I can't seem to get my TechnoTrend Budget S-1401 tune into any channel. My SkyStar 2 on the same machine is fine. Whenever I try to tune to any channel, FTV BBC for instance, i get Unable to start graph exception within the error.log, and error 0x80004002 within tv.log. Because the tune then fails, it falls back on my SkyStar 2 which works. I've also noticed an error within TsWriter.log, 'Technotrend: unable to open the CI:14', but this model doesn't have a CAM option. Anyone got any idea?

Hi,

you should consider to update your driver. 5.0.0.6 was not that stable. So use 5.0.0.19.

The message "No CI" is correct, because it's a technotrend card it tries to find one.

I did indeed upgrade to 5.0.0.19, which still didn't work at first. I had to actually un-install the drivers completely using device manager, reboot and the reinstall the 5.0.0.19 drivers from scratch. After that, all was well. Yippeee.
