    Hi again

That would almost certainly work... although I note that you haven't set up your TV codec settings in MediaPortal configuration - you should really do that too. I'm going to keep looking at the code. Once I find and fix the problem I'll post a patch for you to test. If you're desperate to get MP working then go ahead and do the manual scans, although if you're going to try my patch then you'll have to delete the channels anyway...

Yeah i will fix the TV codec settings. I just wanted to try out 1.2.0 beta as fast as possible because you guys asked med to. I´m going to go through loads of diffrent settings after i can get the TV-card to work. Feels a little like a waste to configure all settings if i would have to reinstall MP again because of test issues.

I´ll w8 for your patch file. If you can´t find the solution i am sure that you will tell me and i´ll start with doing it manually instead.

    Hi Aldarion

I have looked deeply at the code and I've figured out why the problem is happening. It is caused by a pretty serious bug that will take me at least a day to fix. My estimates of how long things will take are notoriously poor, so at this point I would actually suggest you do a manual scan. I know how to reproduce the bug so I'm able to test for myself if necessary. *Thank you* for reporting. This really is something we would not have wanted to let into 1.2.0rc or 1.2.0 final, so I'm glad we're finding it now rather than later.

    :D

PS: I will still report back when we have a fix.

Ok well i´ll try to remove the channels and make manual scans without using the "search for transponder list" and see if that works. If that doesn´t i´ll prolly have to manually go into the file and change it. Could you tell me what file in the media portal installation stores this type of information?

    thx in advance :)

    Sure :)
On Windows 7, the DVB-C tuning details are stored in C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TuningParameters\dvbc (note: that is a hidden folder, so you'll have to enable viewing of hidden and system files and folders to see it). Add the attached file and rename it like the others (<country>.<provider or area>.xml). After restarting TV Server configuration you should be able to choose your tuning details from the list.

    Best regards,
    mm

PS: Perhaps you could submit the tuning details -->here<-- if they work for you. That way we can add them to 1.2.0rc. :)
