I am watching TV using a tv-server setup because i use the tuner also if i'm watching tv from another room. It worked fine at first but there are a few issues, the most important one is that i get this error "Unable to start timeshifting, unable to start graph" a lot. It just happens when i start watching or when i change the channel. Also zapping is very slow (5 seconds or more)

I will try post a log tomorrow because since i can't find anything in the mediaportal log. Think it is in the tv server log but thats for tomorrow, need some sleep now:sorry:

Actually if I check my logs, I can't see either this PMT error (anyway it was there). It's not coming all the time but symptoms are same...anyway it seems to be that there is quite a lot of problems concerning 1.0.2 and watching TV. It doesn't matter if you using c, t 2s etc cards...

Can anyone tell me what 'graph' is and what PMT is. So i can try to fix it or make an workaround for myself.

    About those PMT's, PAT's, CAT's etc:

    TV-Server/Configuration/GeneralSettings - MediaPortal Manual Documentation

    More info:

Digital Satellite TV Handbook - Google Book Search

If those values are not correctly mapped in tuningparameters file etc. MP cannot tune channels correctly. In MP1.0.2 scanning is done little bit different way than earlier version. If you just update earlier versions example from 1.0.0 level your channels works just fine but if you re-scan/update your channels something goes wrong.

I using DVBViewers Transedit scanner to check tuningparameters and I also checkmy .ini files on that tools. It's really usefull tool, perhaps it's possible to have similar inside MP's also (just hint to developers =)
