I was previously been running the above setup on a pre 2.3.0 final svn (unfortunately I can't recall which), and I was able to access both tuners. Now, every version I have tried since the 2.3.0 final has been unable to. Both tuners are detected in the tv server config, but any attempt to use both (watch tv + manually start timeshifting, record one channel + watch another, etc) fails, with the message "all cards are busy", despite manual control showing the second tuner as idle.

I've fonud lots of people complaining of this issue, but that was apparently an issue with XP, and I'm running vista.

Thanks for your help

    Hi,
Have you added the channels to both cards(from your log: card:2 type:dvbT channel not mapped)?

Not sure if this is the place for it, but it would seem like a nice addition for the config app to warn users if they've done something silly, like not assign any channels to a card..?

I guess there would be a lot of messages to write then since MP offers you a lot of customization and the possibilities to do silly things...
