Hi All

I have several times tried to get TV Server up and running but with no luck. With the current version i get Unknown Failure when trying to preview a channel.

I get different stuff into the logs depending on if it is a digital or analog channel. I haver attached logs for both scenarios.

What i did was:
Open TV Server Config
Preview a channel.
Close TV Server Config.

If anybody can give me a hint to what the problem is, i will be really happy :)

br
Michael

Seems like you don't get a signal "signal: 0" in logfile.
Have you checked the position of your dish?

    Thanx for the answer.

I should off course hav mentioned:

    1) The digital signal is DVB-T
    2) It works without any issues in TV Engine 2

Yes i'm using the 2.121.25351 version which to my knowledge is the newest.

Does anybody have the TV Server working with a HVR 1300?

I do use it, with some minor issues in a multiseat environment:
server standby S3 is not reliable working (after one million hours testing playing with delay times to start the client / server) so currently working as always on = suspect this a card issue (same drivers as you)
Ramdonly the channels captured with the analog part of the card (from external STB) haven't sound and require to restart the server side to get it working. The DVB-T channels work out perfectly. No idea why, error logs just shows a "RemoteControl: Error getting server Instance": annoying issue

    Cheers

    Hi Lulsam

Nice to hear that you have it working. Which version of the tv server are you using?

tvengine3-03-12-2008--05-08h--Rev17897, but it was working more or less with the same issues (annoying but minor ones) with tvengine3-02-25-2008--11-22h--Rev17523

    Cheers

I had similar symptoms today with my Hauppauge PVR150, when I upgraded to tvengine Rev18313 (I also tried Rev18215). When I reverted to Rev17368 it was OK again.

i also get a unknown error on previewing, Tvserver never starts writing .ts files and chrashes after a minute or so. When i do a channel-scan i have signal=0 and quality=100, in older versions i can watch tv even if i have "no" signal...
    My tv-card is a Terratec Cinergy dvb-s.
