Up Directory under Video Screen (1 Viewer)

I need to know how to disable the Up Directory under the video screen it is rather annoying and takes away from the whole experience of not feeling like a pc.

Unfortunately thats not possible. And the way its coded its almost impossible to change the behavior.

Is it possible for a plugin developer to write a plugin to bypass its original action and make it do something else / dissapear from the menu?

Sure, everything is possible. But finding one that want to do it is another case
