Graphedit is independant and just a tool for viewing filters and constructing trial filter graphs.

    Your steps 1 - 4 are correct.

The next step is to ensure the pin out/in of the filters are correctly assigned in the graph construct .

If you have run MP and had a failure when adding a TV tuner or running a TV tuner then view the error logs in the MP directory.

This will show which filter and which pin was causing the filter graph build failure.

Now using graphedit 'insert' the filters and see which pin should be used .

My AIW 9000 graph should work which is posted above. .

The filers that may have different pin assignments are usualy

    ATI Rage Theater Video Crossbar

    ATI Rage Theater Video Capture

The other thing to check is this line in the graph construct

capturecard commercialname="ATI AIW 9200 Cards or earlier" capturename="ATI Rage Theater Video Capture" devid="ntativrv35"

The 'ntativrv35' part should match the info for your drivers that are installed

You read that from the graphedit 'filter moniker' box when you use 'insert' and highlight the video capture sources, in ths instance

    ATI Rage Theater Video Capture

Sorry, I am new to this graphedit so I am a little unsure. When I run MP and try to add a Tuner it tells me that there are none to choose from. I run graphedit and under video capture sources, all I see is my Hauppauge tuner and not the AIW.

Sorry for being a little slow at this. Thanks for the help!

The AIW drivers can't have installed correctly on your system if that is the case.

Does your device manager show all the AIW devices installed and are they definately 6.14.10.6325, there should be six ATI WDM devices.

Your ATI WDM devices are incorrectly installed .

    You have NO

ATI WDM Rage Theater video NSP

Run the ATI WDM 6.2 instal and let it instal the default drivers (which will not work with MP) reboot if required and then force update each driver again ensuring you match the names exactly .

Th only one that should be different from default is the ATI WDM Rage Theater video NSP instaed of ATI WDM Rage Theater video

Yep looks fine, those filter pins are correct for the graph construct posted .The right hand side of the filter from top to bottom is '0' to '4'' , the two capture pin outs are required '0' for video and '4' for audio.

Now as long as the 'devid' is also correct for your card then MP should detect and Build a working graph .

when editing the XML file be very careful as even the smallest mistake will make the whole xml file faulty.

I appreciate the help you have provided!

MP detects the card and it creates a graph for the card and it appears to be good. But I still cannot get a picture. I get static on all stations when I try to watch TV. Did I miss another step? I copied your config from the previous page for the pre9200 and the deviceID for the Video NSP matches what is in that same config.
