The error is still the same from the configuration file. Pin 4 instead of pin 3 is being used

HINT.. When in the TV config you may have more than one choice of filter, try each one (you may be trying to tune from an incorrect filter graph).

When MP runs it will find the correct graph through trial and error if it exists in the XML file and if there are two of the same but one is specifying the wrong pins to be used.

You also have the card filters set to PAL 25fps and PAL resolution . Is this correct for your broadcast standard

    Hello,

can someone give a point-to-point guidance?

I have a ATI All in Wonder 9000 Radeon Series.
The ATI Multimedia Center works, but MediaPortal doesn't.

Here a list what i have done:

    1. I installed the Catalyst 6.5 WDM driver
    2. I copied the 6.2 WDM NSP driver in my system32 folder (i replaced the files, some of them are in system32/drivers). Installing by the windows device manager doesn't work.
    3. I installed the ATI Encoder package, version 6.6
    4. I installed the ATI MMC_UCI files, version 9.14

Microsoft Frameworks 2.0 and 3.0 are installed

    MediaPortal Version: 0.2.2
    MediaPortal Skin: BlueTwo
Windows Version: Windows XP Home SP2
    CPU Type: AMD Duron 1300
    Memory: 512 MB
    Motherboard: ASRock KT7VT
    Motherboard Chipset: Via
Video Card: ATI ALL-IN-WONDER 9000 Radeon
    Sound Card: Onboard
    MPEG2 Video Codec: MPA
    MPEG2 Audio Codec: MPV

ATI Multimedia Center works, under MediaPortal i get the message: Card definition does not contain any filters. If i try to edit my Capture Card MediaPortal Setup it says: No video capture card(s) were found. you won't be able to configure a capture card.

In CaptureCardDefinitions.xml i tried to change:
    <connection sourcefilter="capture" sourcepin="4" sinkfilter="audencoder" sinkpin="0"/>
    to:
    <connection sourcefilter="capture" sourcepin="3" sinkfilter="audencoder" sinkpin="0"/>
    But nothing changed.

The value for "devid" is "ntativrv35". The Same i found under the driver informations of "ATI WDM Rage Theater Video" in the windows device manager.

I have also installed the programm graphedit, but i don't understand what i have to do.
I can insert ATI Rage Theater Video Capture and some filters, but i don't find any ATI Video Compressor or the MPV Compressor of MediaPortal.
I think, respectively i am sure there is the problem...
But i don't know how to solve.

I believe that the section for your card is commented out. If you look in the CaptureCardDefinitions file, the sections for "ATI AIW 9200 Cards or earlier" are slightly different. It starts with a "<!--" and ends with a "-->". If you remove these marks, it will then read this definition instead of skipping it.

Now, you will notice that there are two entries for the cards. One forces the WDM NSP drivers, and the other doesn't. I haven't a clue what this means. You may just want to uncomment one section at a time, and try it out.

Remember to only use Notepad for editing the file. Other text editors leave it formatted in a way that makes it unreadable to MP.

As for GraphEdit, you can just load the filters that are listed in the CaptureCardDefinitions file. You can also run the MP setup program, then while it is complaing that no cards are found, open GraphEdit and select Connect to a remote graph. This may show you which pins are not connecting.

Update: I see that there are actually many more enties that could be used for your card. They are for different driver versions. If you are using the T200 version, look for that entry.

I tried every card definitions. NSP, WDM and VIVO... none of them worked.
In Graphedit the ATI Encoders are not listed. I tried to install them several times and i tried to register the encoder by regsvr32 atimcenc.dll.
    But without sucess :(
