I finally made the plunge and am attempting again to try out the new MediaPortal (had TV recording issues and remote control issues with the other versions so I just kept 0.2.3.0. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!). Anyways, before I did the upgrade I exported my channels/recordings, etc via the config utility of 0.2.3.0 (in Television > TV Channels > backup button), which gave me a ChannelsList.xml file.
After I installed RC2 I tried the import opion under the TV Server Configuration > TV Channels section and selected my ChannelsList.xml file, the import result showed nothing was imported. I then tried directing the database import feature to my backed up 0.2.3.0 folder and even to my recorded TV folder. Nothing can get my schedules in.
I am not too concerned about my past recordings as I can just move them into MyVideos but I had alot of schedules and I really don't want to do them all over again.
Please help!
