    Two questions:-
    1) What version of Windows are you running?
    2) Why are you trying to upgrade to 1.33 when 1.34 has been released?

    UPDATE
Just noticed you are on Win 7 x64 in which case please try MP 1.34 I think it "should" resolve the issue.

issue started when upgraded to MP 1.33 ... was previously running MP 1.31
MP 1.31 was entirely 32-bit. Installing MP 1.33 32-bit or MP 1.34 32-bit over MP 1.31 32-bit should work without problem.

The problems arise when you try to install MP 64-bit over an existing MP 32-bit. I am unclear whether MP 1.34 has fixed this problem. If it has not, you need to uninstall MP 32-bit completely, before installing MP 64-bit. This is the procedure that I followed when I upgraded from 1.31 32-bit to 1.33 64-bit.

i didn't install x64 over x86, i only ever used x86 (32 bit), and again used x86 for the upgrade to 1.33, and x86 again just now to 1.34

Looks more like some kind of plugin that is not updated.

i only have the Power Scheduler Plugin installed, which i've had installed for many years now, and the PowerScheduler.dll was automatically included in the MP x86 upggrades...PowerScheduler.dll also shows version 1.34 ( version matches MP version 1.34 )

On your screenshot I see more than one plugin, they all load when the configurator starts, even if they are not active. And they can give such an error.
