Dear All
being many years happy MP user, I have started with MP on WinXP, then on Win7 and I have never experienced any issues that i was not able to resolve by my own
But now, I have upgraded my HTPC again to newest CPU Intel Core i9-9900T , a new MoBo etc. and installed Win10
Windows installed all updates, no errors no issues

Trying to install latest MP1 and I am getting an error:
======================================================================
---------------------------
MediaPortal Unpacker Setup
---------------------------
Some components are missing on your system to install MediaPortal.
Please install the following components:

- Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1

Installation will be canceled.
You can find more information and download links in MediaPortal Wiki, which will is opened now.

OK

But the .NET was installed during Win10 installation and WinUpdate. Nevertheless, i was trying to install .NET Framework & getting next error message:

".NET Framework 4.8 or a later update is already installed on this computer."

Checked registry - yes, .NET is present

Please help!

Kind regards,

Audiolyub

PS. The reason might be here, that i am using a bit unusual CPU:
it is "Intel Core i9-9900T ES QQZ6 QQC0 1.7GHz 8C Turbo to 3.8GHz LGA1151 35W "
and
msinfo32 shows:
"Processor Genuine Intel(R) CPU 0000 @ 1.70GHz, 1701 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)"
Can it be the MP1 installation fails because the CPU has a strange ID number "0000"?
I am not sure here

Any help is very appreciated
PPS. logs cannot upload, I cannot find it as MP is not installed there even MP directory not created

I have enabled .NET 3.5 and it works
My mistake i was asuming .NET 4.8 is compatible with 3.5 and newer
