Upmixing Stereo to 5.1 / 7.1 (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I use a p4.0 system, it means 2 "front" speakers in my pc, 2 "rear" speakers to HI-fi, does bass engine support this ?

I am experiencing a problem with using Upmixing (SVN 29th Jan) when its enabled I can't change the volume with my MCE remote... it just sets itself to max volume
If i disable upmixing the volume control works perfectly...

I'm simply mixing up the 2 stereo channels.
Stereo Left is assigned to all other speakers on the Left side.
Stereo Right is assigned to all other speakers on the Right side.

I don't do any magic in endocing to Ac3 or something like that.

If you have the htpc connected via spdif, i would let the pro-logic receiver do the job.

I've been using an output plugin, ATSurround Processor, with Winamp that uses matrix encoding to get multichannel upmixing from stereo sources. Is it possible/feasible to incorporate this into BASS?

Sorry, no support for Winamp Output plugins.
Only Input plugins work so far.
