Hi.
With the "original" TV solution (known as native TV or TVE 3.5) not being as stable as wanted (we call it "Pre- Alpha") there is a second option to have full working TV in MP2, as long as native TV is not 100% usable. This second option is with the MP1 TV Server and the use of MPExtended. For this you have two TV plugins but you must choose only one of them. If you want to try the future, you need to use "native TV" . If you want to stay with the old fashioned but reliably working MP1 TV server you need to use the MPExtended plugin.
"OR" definitely is the wrong term here. All and every functionality in MP2 is a plugin. So is TV. This never will change but in later versions those TV plugins are integrated into the main installer. But for now there are two ways to get TV into MP2 that's why it is not integrated jet. Will there be a complete TV service in MP2 (both server and client), or will this be plugins?
