I am sorry but I don't use standby.

Have you tried running IRSS as an application instead of a service? Jon indicated that connecting to the USBUIRT from a service is complicated. This may move you around the error.

In the case of the problem I was troubleshooting, if I had setup IRSS as an application I probably wouldn't have had a problem.

I will forward on your comment to Jon but I am not sure he will have enough to troublehoot. It maybe that IRSS is not handling the resume from standby correctly in the case of the USBUIRT

Take Care.

I have tried installing irss as an application but it didn't solve the problem. It is not the same issue as you had as in your case it was multiple access to usb-uirt by different applications but in my case it isn't, everything goes through ir server, translator,mp controll plugin,tv blaster plugin and irblast.
