spuck,

on the site in your sig, there are some images with the ending "fnf" , i noticed they're full-screen images. Do they only work well in Xephyr?

Reason I ask is I have issues with xephyr since it's far from complete (and looks really weird) on my setup, but some of those full-sized images are really nice!

In the site in my signature anyone can upload Fan Art, don't really keep track of all the images uploaded. :)

In the xephyr forum thread there's a torrent with xephyr specific Fan Art which you can use in any skin (Stay away from skins which need description box on the Fan Art. :D).

Pretty much any Fan Art should work with XFace, that's the way I designed the tvseries xml. Probably just about any other skin uses the description box but even then should look fine if the color of the text has a good contrast to the background it's on.

Do you guys think there should be a user system on the site instead of the way it works now? So you can edit/remove your uploaded fan art and stuff like that..

I think it would be the best, so all the uploaders can have a better control on their images.. for example, i edited twice my images before posting since i found some "bug" on them.. what if i already uploaded them before finding the issue? x_X

Another thing i found about X-Face usage of fanart: this skin is moving down the fanart image for the height of the status bar on the top of the screen, i have to remember it everytime i work on the images

Why do you have to consider that? It doesn't really affect the way the fan art looks in the skin..

Well, since i'm not using any kind of box or highlight in the fanart i create, it doesn't matter as you say :)
It was just an information, i don't know if this is something wanted or not, so i thought it was better to tell it.

Sorry to be a pain if this is common knowledge but I cant seem to find the answer anywhere in this thread

But.. in what directory do I need to put the jpgs for the fanart??!!

Do I have to name the jpg exactly as the show name appears in the database?

Thanks!

Im also lost about all this fanart things
They are supposed to be used with theplugin and to be showed in the menus, arent them?
How do I enable this feature in MyTVseries? Where should I place the images?

Place the images in ...\Media Portal\Thumbs\FanArt (you have to create the folder). They should have the series ID (according to thetvdb.com) and dark or light in the filename.

Nothing more has to be done.

I have downloaded some images (.png format) from here:
    http://jossan.visse.nu/~spuck/FanArtVote/

I havent renamed them, and I placed in \Media Portal\Thumbs\FanArt

But it dont work, no changes in the screen inside MP.
Is it compatible with x-face skin?
Should I activate fanart in any way?

    TY
