Using MP ONLY for TV (1 Viewer)

I'm new to MP and using 1.1.0 RC1. I would like to use MP only for OTA television as I've got all my other media setup in Boxee, so I have a few questions:

1. Is it possible to autostart MP 1.1.0 with live tv playing (without user menu interaction)?

2. Is there a way to disable the other home screen menu items like music, videos, etc. and leave only TV?

I used to use MP on one of my laptops just for TV.

It is possible to use the Autostart plugin located here: MEDIAPORTAL - free media center - Autostart - Fixed for MP 1.1.0

Give it a go. I don't think there is a way to disable the other menu items but I could be wrong.

Thanks. I installed that plugin and it doesn't appear in MP Config/Process as described. Not sure why. Any ideas?

Have you tried disabling everything in the Plugins section of the MP Config program?

I haven't tried it but I'm guessing it ought to take you close to what you want to do.

Is the dll there at %Program Files%\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\process
