Synopsis::

I'm using X10 remote (ATI remote wonder), and I noticed when computer resumes from standby mode S3 each pressed key on remote results on mediaportal as I pressed those key twice, after second resume one pres on each key results with 3 times desired action, after 4 resume from S3 one press of key on remote results with 4 times desired action. If I restarts mediaportal only (not needed to restart whole computer) behaviour is back to normal.
Becaouse of that I'm shure it is a mediaportal issue, not a hardware.

Facing exactly the same problem with ATI Remote Wonder I even after windows start : each press on remote arrow key at the bottom (left/right/up/down) behaves as if I pressed twice the key. Remote is unusable in this condition.

Area : Media Portal Program

Media Portal Skin : Blue Two
Windows Version: Windows XP (SP2)
.NET CLR Version : 2.0.50727
DirectX version : 4.09.00.0904 (9.0c)

TV Card : Leadtek PVR2000
RC driver : ATI Remote Wonder 3.03

What's estonishing is that we have the same TV card bane and me, but I do not think it is related to this card (I never used the remote of this card).

    I experienced the same behaviour... It suddenly was there. I have a 150MCE so not TV-card related ;) I will look at it and find a solution 8)

    I saw the exact same problem with a Firefly remote (x10 based) when I moved to the new (to me anyway) remote functionality in RC3.

    What solved it for me was making sure the recommended x10 driver on the remote config page was NOT installed, and just going with the Firefly version.

    No idea obviously if the actual ATI driver works for MP but it I'm guessing that there are 2 x10 drivers installed on your systems and this is causing the 'double press' thing?

    I'd have a go at removing all instances of any installed x10 drivers from your system (I saw them in Add/Remove programs, and removing them from here actually seemed to work) and installing the one driver you figure has the best chance of working. I found that using the Update Driver... functionality from Device Manager did NOT have the same effect as running the install for the driver which caused me about an hour's worth of confusion.

    Thanks to Bavarian it should be fixed in any SVN-Snapshot later than now :) So it should be in the nightly build of today...

    Please test it and report back here!

    Should be fixed in RC4. Maybe try with a clean install!
