Verbindung zu MySQL (1 Viewer)

Hallo,

ich habe ein Problem mit dem SQL Server. Diese Meldung kam auch schon wärend der Installation. Ich hatte das dann weggeklickt und weiter installiert. MP meldete das alles installiert sein. Beim Öffnen des TV-Server kommt aber diese Meldung wieder.

Was ist zu tun?

New Install​

The very first time you install MediaPortal on your system, the Installer - Deploy Tool allows you to download and install all necessary components for a complete MediaPortal install such as:

• DirectX
• MS Visual C++
• Windows Media Player 11
• MS SQL Express OR MySQL (If you wish to watch TV using MediaPortal).
  
  To download Windows Media Player 11 and MS SQL Express, the installer will give a link to download from Microsoft's website, and where the file should be saved.
  
  If using a 64 bit version of Windows, you will need to rename the MS SQL Express download, from "sqlexpr.exe" (the name used by Microsoft) to "sqlexpr64.exe" (the name expected by MediaPortal).

Was muß ich jetzt tun? So etwas hatte ich noch nicht!


Edit: Ich habe versucht MySQL separat zu installieren. (https://www.chip.de/downloads/MySQL_13000125.html)

Das läuft auch nicht ...

Klappt alles nicht. Habe MySQL 8 wieder deinstalliert und versucht MePo noch einmal zu installieren. MePo meldet das MySQL nicht installiert ist, bricht dabei aber ab. Siehe Bild. Da MySQL aber nicht auf dem Win11 Rechner istalliert ist habe ich MySQL hier heruntergeladen MySQL :: Download MySQL Installer und versucht zu installieren. 'Aber auch dabei tritt ein Fehler auf: Das Programm möchter die Datenbank sichern und ein Passwort haben. Dann soll man das testen und schwupps kommt eine Fehlermeldung daß das nicht möglich ist.

Ich komme nicht weiter ...!

Wenn ich MePo übrigerns jetzt noch einmal drüber installieren will sieht man das MySQL5.6 jetzt installiert ist. Beim Zugriff auf MySQL kommt aber wieder die Fehlermeldung ...

Kann es sein das 5.6 nicht auf Win11 läuft? MySQL 8 konnte ich installieren. Aber die will MePo nicht ...

Auch hier sieht man einen Unterschied: Er kann 5.7 und 5.6 installieren. Bei mir kommt nur 8!

Ich habe jetzt alles was mit SQL Datenbanken zu tun hat gelöscht.


Hat das jemand unter Win11 Pro hinbekommen? Um den Server zu betreiben muß ich ja entweder Microsoft SQL Server oder Oracle MySQL 5 zum laufen bekommen!

Ich habe MP1 nie verwendet, aber habe den Fehler mal in MP2 gehabt. Es hat nichts mit fehlendem MySQL zu tun, sondern damit dass die Verbindung nicht aufgebaut werden kann. Versuche mal alle MP1 Einstellungen zu entfernen (verschieben) und dann MP1 neu zu installieren. Danach sollte es gehen.

yes, I tried installing 1.32. Which is simply not possible because of the SQL database. As I said, 5.6 is already very old and has not been supported for a long time. Maybe it still works in Win10. But now Win11 is on it. Since my current Kitchen HTPC is still running perfectly and I'm installing the new Win11 computer because Win10 is being phased out, I'll wait for MePo 1.33...

I have now installed an old 1.28. And SQL 5.6 is also installed here. Then have installed 1.31 and then 1.32 64bit. The installation works without any error messages...
