For those who have high expectations:

Been googling around a bit, and it seems that - many years after the introduction - WASAPI can be very troublesome with many devices. For several discrete audiocards ASIO - if natively supported - is still the way to go.

(No i don't have Steinberg shares )

Would this also work with MP1.5? I am quite happy with the system and also with the PureAudio Plugin (I think it is 2.6, I can check at home if it is important). It plays my music (MP3 mainly) flawlessly. I would nevertheless like to try the Plugin with WASAPI support. Which version should I use?
