video and audio is coming through but mostly static (1 Viewer)

so I'm finally gettting video through to the tv application but it looks like crap. i have 4 decoders listed and i've tried them all getting about the same result. i'm thinking that this has something to do with the problem. when i'm in the tv server program i can preview the channels and they look fine. Any help with be greatly appreciated.

Could you please be a bit more specific and descriptive - exactly what does the video look like?

i have 4 decoders listed and i've tried them all getting about the same result.

What are the 4 decoders that you have tried?

Is this analog or digital TV that you are trying to view?

i'm thinking that this has something to do with the problem.

What do you mean by "this" - do you mean the video decoder?

The more information you can provide to describe the problem, the more likely you are to get a useful solution ...

Could you please be a bit more specific and descriptive - exactly what does the video look like? looks like tv used to look when you had a crummy antenna mostly fuzzy bad reception, but it looks fine in winTV

What are the 4 decoders that you have tried? main concept (hcw) mpeg-2, hauppauge wintv mpeg 2 muxer, intervideo deocder for huappauge, mpc - mpeg-2 video decoder (gabest)

I updated my hauggepage driver to the latest and now it is working, thanks for all the help
