So install the madVR build to compare :

    - EVR failed
    - MadVR (winner)

But in final, it comes because the hardware is hybrid GPU, after disable the AMD GPU and let the Intel (detected as the primary video card), it works :)
So i think there is a bug in detection on our side but no clue where exactly :(

@Owlsroost maybe you can have an idea :)

Sorry, no ideas Seb - you know far more about screens and d3d devices than I do...

My dev laptop has hybrid graphics (Intel + nVidia), and MP1 runs OK on that (was Win 7, now Win10). The previous laptop was also an Intel+nVidia hybrid, and it worked OK on that as well.

How is MP set up - is 'always on top' enabled ? (I never do this because it's a pain if MP hangs and keeps the focus...)

Try disabling the AMD GPU ?

At first thought, i have it's EVR C++ issue but maybe not :)
Yes disabling the AMD and it works on EVR/madVR.

What i think, it's that somehow EVR try to work with the wrong card (no clue why).

About the D3D Device, it's the same device that is send for EVR and madVR, somehow madVR didn't has issue when both card activated.

It needed to reproduce it for debugging i fear :)

One thing we didn't try is test with MPC-HC (in EVR mode) to see if it does the same.

Anyway thanks for your input on this :p
