Video playback doesn't work correctly (1 Viewer)

OK, i've simply solved my issue:

But now i've another issue: Playing .avi or .mkv with many codecs (divx 6.8, ffdshow rev.2045, arcsoft codecs) i've only a big vertical black bar on monitor. Audio is OK.

Simply by reinstalling driver of my ATI 9200. I think it was damaged, because now all is working !!!

DivX version over here is 6.8.3 as well. Turning off the toolbar using the DivX Toolbar Toggler (thanks for the download link ) fixes the minimize problem... I never had this problem before RC2, but nevertheless, it is solved now.

Sorry but turning off toolbar does not resolve completly the minimizes problem. It seems to be but it re-occurs when you play a xvid movie then a divx movie for example. MP minimizes on my config (MP1 RC2)

Only installing ffdshow seems to resolve problem.

Hi All,

I have just installed 1.0 RC2 and have the same problem.
When I select to start a DivX or Xvid vid MP minimises and I have to double click the icon in the system tray.
I then have to select the file again and it plays. But alas I have no focus

Has a more definitive fix been released ?
Or is installing ffdshow the present cure, does ffdshow fix the focus problem or is that cured by also installing MPTrayMOD.
Do I have remove my DivX app ?

Sorry for all the questions I'm still cutting my teeth with MP.

I updated DivX to the latest version and I'm currently running the latest SVN build... I think the DivX update solved it already. Anyway, right now I don't have any problems anymore.

I installed the latest version of DivX but still had the same fault.
I installed the DivX toolbar toggle tool and all is well, even fixed the focus problem.

I've now got this problem too, using RC3 (no SVN's). Changing to EVR from VMR9 resolves the problem, however I'd rather stick with VMR9 for now. This problem takes place when playing ANY video incl. HD mkv's... I've also tried switching from CoreAVC & AC3Filter to PowerDVD8 decoders, problem still exists.

MP Always On Top doesn't help either...

Any ideas?

Did you try SAF?

I tried SAF, but many of my divx and xvid film can't be played. If I'm using the same codec/film in MediaPlayer, MediaPlayer Classic, VLC there is no problems

If i'm rolling back til MP 1.0.0.0 RC3 without SVN there is no problems..

VLC can not use the same codec, as it does not use DS
