sorry I haven't tested this yet. I decided I should probaly be testing this on RC1. And I have had nothing but issues getting it to even launch. I am going to do a full uninstall and re-install (again), and not install any skins this time to see if i can get this to work.

Ok, well, this is a show stopper for me. I can't type in a correct movie name and have moving pictures be able to pull it up and add it correctly and automatically. Lately, it feels like everything I am suggesting be fixed or improved, I am basically being told "no". Very disappointing and very discouraging.

For Moving Pictures, it is far more efficient to set it up in configuration rather than the actual MediaPortal application.

Ok, I tested this on B3W and on black glass nova. seems to work well so far. more testing today, though. I did find something odd. I could put MORE characters in with Black Glass Nova than I could on Blue 3 Wide. example Below:

B3W: The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rin

Nova: The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (Disc 1)

So I don't know what is up with that, I will do more testing today to find out what I can and can't do. will also test with a couple of other skins as well.

Do you mean exiting Mediaportal, going in to MP config, opening the moving pictures config, getting the movie info correct, saving that, exiting moving pictures config, exiting MP config, then re-launching MP??? If so, then please read this post here: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/moving-pictures-284/questions-79552/. It is not very easy for me to do that in my situation...

The amount of text that can be entered is limited by available space in input field. If different fonts are used in different skins, different amounts of texts can by typed in. Also way more "l" can by typed compared to "m" in most fonts. Remember to also test behavior in Blue 3 (not wide).

Ok, I have tested this on a number of skins including blue3, and blue3wide. I have been using it for a while. I have seen no ill effects, and longer text entry capabilities...
