Visualizations won't work (1 Viewer)

Hey hwahrmann,


I just updated MediaPortal and noticed that myRadio seems to use the internal player again (just the Alchemy visualisation is used again). Have you removed the BASS support for the Radio recently ?

EDIT: I just noticed that it works fine if the TV-Server client plugin is not installed. It doesn't matter which version I install (tested builds from May-July), as soon as the plugin is there visualisations won't work anymore.

EDIT2: I tested some builds and discovered that this behaviour first occured in SVN-Snapshot: 05-26-2007 01-01h - Revision:14711 (I didn't update for a long time). Whatever was changed there is the cause for the BASS / vis support "error".
Any help would be great

have no idea.
still using "old" TV2 and there the problem's not there.
need to give it a try.

FYI: You can install the plugin without the need to install TVE3, the problem will occur anyway and no files are overwritten in your MP installation (So uninstall won't cause any problems either ). You should just backup the Mediaportal.xml file since the TVE3 plugin might get registered there during startup of MediaPortal / Configuration. But what am I saying YOU are the developer .

yup, right i know how to handle it. ))

in the meantime i had a look into the code.
no wonder that it doesn't work.
TVPlugin is handling Radio as well. didn't know that.
and it has the old code inside, without the changes i did in the "old" radio pugin.
don't know when i have time, but relatively easy to fix.

Finally i found the time to check the TVE3 plugin.
It plays the Radio streams fine, without any problem.
Bass is used and all the vis is shown.

please check, if the problem still exists at your installation.
