Stable is nice.....

....but me personaly won't be testing MP hard before I can use my Remote Wonder effortlessly (w.o. Girder)

nice idea with the voting

you could do those polls regularly like once a week or so.

but generally i think considering the forum member numbers right now
it would make more sense if a poll has a maximum of 10 choices or so.
this would create a more accurate result i think =)

the problem with 'make it stable first'
is that many ppl dont report their problems/bugs
they just assume that its fixed in the next release

But reporting a bug is the first step to get it solved!

Maybe a lot of people think "Hey it's free, than i can't complain about bugs". In germany we say "Einem geschenkten Gaul schaut man nicht ins Maul" I hope it's ok for you when i join #MediaPortal several times a week to report bugs. I tried a lot of HTPC interfaces and i think MP is the best. Keep that in mind when my next bug report comes in But i'm no programmer, so bug reporting is the only thing i can do to get MP better and better.

Not missing, just a little farther into the future. The list is for immediate concerns, and will change as MP gets to V1.0 and beyond...

Did you suggest LCD in the thread for this?

The MediaPortal team will focus the next weeks on stabilizing MediaPortal

This means that during this period there will be
-we wont be adding new features
-we wont be beautifying existing features
-we will be fixing bugs

Offcourse you guys can help us by testing the latest release and reporting any bugs found
