I have same problem with a NVidia 6800GS the only way to get rid of this problem is to set a 50Hz refresh rate in the display driver for PAL brodcasting and DVD or 59.94hz - 60Hz or something similar for NTSC. I 'm in Italy, PAL is standard. And my 6800GS hate 50.000Hz my Thomson 32LCD too, so I use 50.017Hz and I get a missed frame every 59 seconds but is really hard to see.
I'm looking for something different more elegant and precise to fix problem but till now notthing
A different solution can be Reclock but unfortunately after my tries I see that is not compatible with Forceware 91.28 Nvidia drivers and 6800 and seams you have to disable DXVA to use it.
Let me know your improvements.

i forgot. You can have a great help with PowerStrip. It can change resolutions and refresh rates that usually ForceWare doesn't permit.
What's your situation now?

i'm having the same problem. Mine happens all the time though, not just during camera movements. I have the same card as you, and i've tried everything with no luck. The only thing that worked so far was changing players, and i dont want to do that.

Hi,

sounds like you get "tearing". Enable "Exclusive DirectX Mode" in Configure->General.

HTH, Flip.

That works, kinda of. I'm only able to view my movies in "original source", not in normal aspect ratio. I can hear it, but only see black. Any suggestions?
