Wake On Lan (WOL) feature inside MediaPortal (1 Viewer)

i have in log 3 adress, when click on learnadress
--- bla bla log
MAC adress
IPV6
IPV4
the adress is good,

Can you upload a clean log when you press the learn address?

i upload it, in the evening sorry .

PS : the server was already added in Myvidéos as shared folder before install your installer.
maybe the WOL learn working only with new server..
also on GUI scan, when quit MP, MP Config don't store the MAC address.

I have just tested it and it works in my system.

1. I deleted my mediaportal.xml
2. Added a new share and clicked on the learn mac button.
3. After exited from configure I checked in mediaportal.xml and the mac address was added.
4. I deleted the mac address entry form mediaportal.xml
5. I run the configure again
6. I pressed on the learn button in share.
7. After exited from configure I checked in mediaportal.xml and the mac address was added again.

can you test, with MP 1.6 testing final, from fresh install, add your vidéo folder to MyVidéo shared.
save it, install your own installer, edit the shared folder ( created previously), check WOL checkbox, click on learnMAcAdress, quite MP config, and look if MAC adress is saved.

I just saw this and wanted to ask a few things about it before I upgraded to 1.5.

no WOL is added to offcial MP support yet, only the plugin can do it.

This feature should be in 1.7 if everyone play the rules !

I see. So for now I could up grade to 1.5 and install this plugin?

Does it work for MyTVSeries or Moving Pictures? If not maybe an option to WOL the server when starting mediaportal?
