Some crazy options I have been testing:
- I switched the GPU from one AGP port to another
- I changed the PEG/PCI graphics preference on BIOS
- I disabled some WIndows 7 graphical features (font smoothing, drop shadows, etc)
- I disabled nVIDIA services in Windows
- I changed the video filters from LAV fo MS-DVD navigator (where available on MP config)
- I used no grahic acceleration on LAV filters
- I opened and saved (in Phososhop) the PNG pictures that Blu-Ray movie displays with the “interlaced-like distortion”
- I repeated the above by saving the PNG as “Interlaced PNG”.

None of that worked. The distortion keeps appearing and always it is the same.

Now I am looking for some nVIDIA tweaker. I don't know if there is something like that available. If there are good results I will post them.

The last option of course is to test a different GPU card... And ship by mail my own GPU card to somebody of the development team to let you look for the source of the problem!

I'd just like to point out that we rely heavily on the libbluray project for our BR support. My guess is that the problem is likely to be in libbluray. If I'm right there'd be no point sending the GPU to our developers.
