12.6 initial tests look ok, saw some funnys so will carry on testing before rolling the driver back on the 2nd system

    What gpu do you have?
I have a 5450 so maybe its struggling performance wise?

I have it on 2 systems, different mobo, CPU, ram but same gpu and tuner

Edit: I have a 5770 at work here, think ill borrow it and test to see if its the 5450 not cutting the mustard.

I will get it doing the regular pixelation with the 5450 and then switch to the 5770

on the 5450, have you tried to activate enforce smooth playback to see if it is a performance (or a bad pp or a broken deinterlace) problem ? it should deactivate all kind of gpu consuming features.

    bye

It's also possible there are hardware decoder differences between the 5450 and later GPU chips.

My own experience (mostly with nVidia and Intel GPU's) is that the Cyberlink (PDVD) decoders are the 'cleanest' with H.264 error handling/recovery (but sometimes you have to wait longer after channel changes/skips etc for normal playback to resume, so there's swings and roundabouts here.....)

Having tested exstensively with many ATI cards and driver builds on VISTA 32/64 I have never been able to reproduce this problem with broadcast or files using this format. Switching during timeshifting from SD to HD to SD no problem. LAV being the choice of codecs

    ATI cards AGP X800, X1800, X1950 .CATS 10.2
    ATI cards HD2400pci, HD4650 AGP, HD4200 OB .CATS 12.3 12.6
    ATI HD 7750 .CATS 12.6 12.18 12.10 12.11b

Maybe the problem is specific to W7 or the broadcaster!

Latest lav filters and last couple of updates have a number of dxva fixes targeting amd corruption/dropped frames

    Version 0.56.2 - 19/04/2013

Will test these out as I occasionally (very rare) get the corruption still
