I ain't seeing anything AC3-related in my Software (Windwos Control Panel).
I found some 'Nvidia Decoder' that I uninstalled and I'm testing the effect right now, but as
You know it's all working super for the first hour or so, so I'm gonna have to wait and try to turn on
the stream on a client some time later and see if it's still there.
Does the AC3-Codec do anything for/with the TV-signal? I thought TV channels were using different
sound streams, and the AC3 codec was only used for DVD/Video playback...
Hmm I guess I am clueless after all

i dont know why, i only knewed. I made a clean windows installation and installed mp and imported my channels. then it works. then i configured mp and it works, then i installed daemontools etc. and it works. then i let it because it works. but then i installed a few codecs like "ac3-filter" (this is the name of the codec) and divx and coreavc. and a few days later i saw that tv isnt working anymore. so i began with ac3filter deinstalling and wups it worked again. dont know why but it is so.

I think he means remove it with 'Add 'n' Remove Programs' in the usual way

i will try it. hope this guys renew their building sometime
I think he's asking for it to be foxed in a futue build...

I had this issue and NO AC3 filter installed.
I HAVE just updated my codecs (FFDShow, Haali Media Splitter, Quicktime Alternative and Nvidia Purevideo) recently and the problem seems to have stopped - for now ;)

These are the ONLY codecs I have installed on my HTPC and seem to have very few issues

    I see, makes sense now.
Well I'm gonna let you know whether it changed something for me.
Glad you found the source of your problem - sucks for me though, because if I'm alone here now,
I'm never gonna be able to use MP because noone cared but you

OK. My setup just ain't working.

I'd really appreciate ANY HELP, because I'm so close to putting that thing to work in that cosy little server rack in the cellar.
But first is has to keep working.

I'm going to break it down one more time, real briefly:
It's the TV service I am talking about. The server works absolutely great for a certain amount of time (or bytes streamed or something).
Windows starts and every client can connect and get the tv channel, switch channels and everything. The client can disconnect and reconnect again.
I'v tried with three clients simultanously - works great. Then I disconnect the client and wait for some time (30 - 180 minutes) after that the client is not able to display the stream again. The client is shown as being served in the tv configuration on the server though!

Would please someone be so kind and give me some idea where to search for a solution?

Where would I find that? I found the EPG Grabber in the TV server Configuration on the Server. It is turned on.
Is it supposed to be off? Didn't find any "Idle" Setting...

Found it. Was on turned it off.
    Testing
