Im having troubles with Watching Live TV and Recorded TV. basically what happens is it stutters every 30 seconds or around there. im wondering if its because im using the onboard graphics instead of a dedicated graphics card.

I have used the SCANCHANELsBDA.exe and it shows signal is 100%.

Any help would be appreciated

    Hi there,

Do a search, there is lots of info on this issue.

Also, no one will/can help unless you supply log files/config info.

    Thanks,

    J.

Also specify better which kind of video card is the on board one.

There's no evr.log in there. Could you please launch mediaportal debug tool, launch mediaportal from in there, reproduce the issue, close mediaportal and send the generated zip file?

Also make sure you do have latest drivers installed and no antivirus running on timeshifting folder.

Looks like problems with signal reception.

This test has been made with an HD channel at fullhd resolution. Do you have the problem only on HD channels? I think your card is on the line of been capable to render 1080i content, I do not have a direct experience about it unfortunately. Maybe someelse on the forum has this card and can tell his experience.

It could be the underpowered video card or some driver problem. So be sure to have all latest drivers (for video card, chipset, audio card, ecc.) installed.

You can also test your system latency with this tool: DPC Latency Checker

Hi. Thanks for the quick response. I have run that dbascan tool and m signal sits at 100%

All drivers are up to date. I will try the latency tool when I get home to see if it's a graphics card issue

Unfortunately not all tv cards report accurate signal level. I will suggest you to turn on this setting "Don't drop discontinued packet in tsreader" in tv client configuration.

You should see less stuttering (probably you will see video corruption) if it's a signal problem.
