    Hi!

    I'm using 0.2.2.0 and have a problem with WinEPG. Some shows are given a start time which is 12 hrs shifted from the original start-time. Please run WinEPG with the attached WinEPG.xml config file. Compare the start-times in the log file or TVGuide.xml with the webpage the data is downloaded from.

    You will see that for some shows (typically the first in a day) the start-time may be shifted 12 hrs. As a result all following shows are also incorrect and may even spill over to the next day.

    I have attached the config file as well as the log-files.

    /Peter

    I can confirm this bug to some extent. I tried with the tvguide_boxer_se.xml grabber and on the second day, all times had been shifted 12 hours. The code ends up here:

    Code:
              if (_lastTime > guideStartTime.Hour)
              {
                _expectedTime = Expect.AfterMidday;

    and later here:

    Code:
            case Expect.AfterMidday:
              if (guideStartTime.Hour < 12)		// Site doesn't have correct time
                guideStartTime.Hour += 12;     // starts again at 1:00 with "pm"

    because the grabber somehow doesn't understand that a new day has begun and the _lastTime is from the day before...

    I don't have time to get dirty with this right now, but I'll look into it again later if no one else fixes it.

    Regards
    DalaNorth

    Hi,

    This is working fine for me, so I can only assume whatever problem has been fixed? Can you the latest SVN?

    Regards,

    /James

    Hi James, Hi DalaNorth,

    I just tried with the latest SVN, MediaPortal-svn--02-06-2007--01-08-Rev12866, but I still see the same problem.

    It seems to work both ways. Some channels are shifted from the afternoon to the morning, and some are shifted from the morning to the afternoon.

    The only common thing I have found between these channels is that they typically only broadcast parts of the day, like Barnkanalen and Kunskapskanalen. Others channels, like SVT1, broadcasting the full day don't show this behavior.

    I've also tried to merge the channels, to make it a full day of broadcasting, but since the incorrect timing is picked up before the merging happens it didn't make any visible difference.

    Thanks for looking into this! This is the big show-stopper preventing me from throwing out WelltonWays MMC and use MP instead, but since the main portion of the recording is for the kids I need a working EPG...

    /Peter

    I did try with the latest SVN, but like I said, I didn't use the exact same xml configuration file, I used the one attached to this post.

    In the log you can see that the programs end at 17:30 on 2007-02-05, but when the grabber moves to 2007-02-06 and the first program is at 06:30, the grabber seems to think we are still on 2007-02-05 and assumes that the 06:30 should actually be 18:30.

    There seems to be a problem with this grabber template though and I think that is what is causing this issue.

    Regards
    DalaNorth

    Hi DalaNorth,

    I'm using the grabber-file www_dagenstv_com with exactly the same behavior as before, i.e. shifting of some start-times with 12 hrs.

    Ok I have seen the problem. Used the wrong channel before ;)

    I have fixed it, but need to test to make sure I haven't broken the time system for other sites. I will hopefully have something tonight :)

    Ok I've commited my changes into the SVN. Hopefully this fixes the problem. Please test and report back.

    The version is 2.4.0 <- A version number is now included in the log file at the top to help me track changes ;-)
