Has any UK user out there managed to configure WebEPG to collect EPG info into their tvguide.xml file for Sky Three.

Both my TV cards still show Sky Travel and as far as I know, the listings are not available through RT Times, DigiGuide or Bleg grabbers.

Thanks in advance for anyone that can help!

    Hi Moviebuff

Yes your quite correct, Sky Three shows up as Sky Travel, Freeview transmitters have kept it as such for the time being, hence MP saying its Travel not Three
Also EPG whether xmltv or transmitter EPG listed as Sky Travel.
If Really Bothered by it, edit the channel name in setup/tv/TVchannels.
    ps same programs !

    Ray,
    Many thanks for your comments.

I have already overtyped the channel name to Sky Three. However I am using WebEPG and it's still pulling through Sky Travel programmes as the channel exists on Cable/Sat.

Anyone know how I can add this channel or amend the settings in WebEPG (UK) as it's not listed under the website listings for Radio Times, or digiguide (although listing are present on both websites) so that it pulls through the correct programmes into MP's EPG??

    Thanks again.
    Darren

Do you know I thought that they where the same, Doh!

Oh well hopefully James will read this and update.
Remember the World's a big place and how many name changes/new channels have taken place in the last 12 months.

    James,
Hopefully you will read this, can you please advise how I can update my WebEPG application to pull Sky Three listings into the tvguide.xml file.

On DVB in the UK, Sky Travel has become Sky Three. This is shown on the websites (radiotimes and bleb) and can be grabbed. The complication is that Sky Travel still exists on DSAT/Cable.

Freeview are rubbish and have not updated the transmitter information and have treated it as a straight channel swap. That's ok, cos I've simply overtyped the channel name in MP, but I still end up with Sky Travel EPG information.

Thanks for the info I was struggling to find Sky Three.

I still have some channels outstanding however, including Sky Two.

I'll have to check when I get home which others I have outstanding.

In the meantime does anyone know what Sky Two would be listed as?

Also if there are any other channels people know have different names?

I was also wondering if there is any other way than manually adding channels that the listings can be created?

I'm using WebEPG with Media Portal at the moment and controlling an external Sky set top box, I'm based in the UK.

I have used Windows Media Center which downloads the channels automatically, I was just wondering if there is a way of getting Media Portal to do the same?

    Thanks

Not sure but a few updates look necessary, does sky one mix still exist or has it changed to sky two, also sky three to be added.
Because the tuning is done externally, it cannot be automatically loaded into database.
