I cant save my config.exe file (due to errors) but I dont want to change my mediaportal installation. It runs rock solid. All I want to do is edit some file to make my webepg timezone correct. The time in the xmltv file is fine. It says something like 200704XXXX +10.

At the moment the +10 is not being considered and I have a webepg time zone that is 10 hours behind.

How do I get it to be ontime (greenwich plus 10) without going into the configuration.exe (which in my case has errors)?

    Hi,

Using WebEPG, I had the problem that after loading this TVguide.xml, the offset was 1 hour off.
Setting the timezone compensation to other values than 0 did not work (in TVServer configuration)

Normally (at least in my case) there is no Compensation included in the TVguide.xml created by WebEPG.

So, to work around this problem, I created a small programm which adds/changes the compensation to the TVguide.xml file.
You can download it at http://webepg.hbrand.nl/webepg.rar

Install the files in your mediaportal/xmltv directory and schedule the batch file included (modify if needed).

    Have fun,
    Ben

p.s. I do not know for sure, but I think the offset is written as +1000 and not +10

Yep thankyou for your reply and little utility. It works a treat. I deleted the +1000 value and now the timings are perfect.

However I am using Getoztvguide utility which does what I want except it doesnt remove the unwanted channels from the xmltv file. Any ideas? The utility can be found here -

MEDIAPORTAL - free MediaCenter HTPC Software - GetOzTvGuide

It states that if you edit the config file then you can choose what channels you want displayed.
