Bad news my friend...It didnt work, that time I lost all the red dots in the guide, even new ones wernt being shown, so I guess the web page couldnt tell MP about the recordings, which ment it couldnt start recording.
I tried another invoke for the hell of it and got no responce from MP. but still said TRUE in the popup window.... :?

Sounds like your getting very close. Im off, hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks again for your input!!

This is really frustrating...

I think I got my source code mixed up with the beta stuff that I have as well. Also, I'm still running on MP 0.1.0.9 so I can't really replicate your situation. I'll see if I can get the other guy working on this to reproduce and fix it (he's the PHP guy, I'm the ECP2 (MP communication) guy). I'll post something here once we have it fixed.

klestor:
I've just uploaded a new version which hopefully should fix the 'MP not knowing about recordings' problem you're having. Simply uninstall the MediaPortal Web Control app on your computer, then install this version.

The link is:
http://members.dinkum.net.au/plai33/MPWebControlSetupR31.exe

Hope this works! (Sorry, I still haven't upgraded my MP version so I can't use it - needs MP 0.1.0.10).

Sam
p.s. klestor: can you remove my full name from your previous post (just edit that bit out); thanks.

Works for me; just tested using MP 0.1.1.1. Can you elaborate on your situation?

Try this as well:
Load MP, go to the My TV screen. On another computer, log into the web interface and schedule a recording for a program that is currently showing (just click on Search EPG, and select What's on right now, then select one of the shows and schedule to record it. MP should automatically pick it up and start recording almost immediately.

The old posts somehow confuse me; will the webfe "R31" work out-of-the-box with MP-0.1.1.1 ? Or do I have to copy over dlls and stuff?

Just install MP and then run the webinterface-installer. That's all you need.

This plugin is great ! I use it with MP 1.0.1.0, and all is ok. And i can schedule a record if i'm not at home: with my Palm (TH55) and my mobile phone, i can connect to my PCHC from anywhere and schedule a record that i've forgot

I have only one problem: i use the LCDSmartie plugin with MP to have info from MP on my VFD, and now, with the Web interface, my VFD is crazy ! I think it's because the two plugins use ECP2Assembly.dll and all is not ok for the two :?

Hmm, maybe Sam and the author of your display plugin should think about this together. I'm sure they'll find a solution. Can you describe "crazy" a little further??? I think this would help...

Sam has answered this on the LCDSmartie plugin thread. The solution is just to replace the ECP2Assembly.dll with the version from my plugin. This is more recent than the webinterface version.
