I have only one problem: i use the LCDSmartie plugin with MP to have info from MP on my VFD, and now, with the Web interface, my VFD is crazy ! I think it's because the two plugins use ECP2Assembly.dll and all is not ok for the two :?
Hmm, maybe Sam and the author of your display plugin should think about this together. I'm sure they'll find a solution. Can you describe "crazy" a little further??? I think this would help...

Hi there. I'm the developer of ECP2Assembly, and I know that that problem exists. I'm working on a seperate installation routine for this so that it will sort of solve this problem, but in the mean time, simply re-install the LCDSmartie plugin. The version of ECP2Assembly.dll included with the LCDSmartie plugin is newer than the web interface one, and therefore should work with both plugins.

Sam

Yes, with this file version, all is ok: MPWebcontrol and the LCDSmartie plugin work very good in the same time ! Thanks for your help !

Hi
just tried MPWebcontrol. Brilliant plugin. But I have some suggestions...
When browsing the guide, I would like to see only channels which contain epg-data imported by tvguide.xml. This would save me time when scrolling through the guide.

Regards
Josh

    Hey Josh,

yeah, that's indeed a good idea. For me all the channels contain EPG data so I don't have the problem. But as I see it could be usefull for other people, I'll have a look @ it the next days.

    klestor:
I've just uploaded a new version which hopefully should fix the 'MP not knowing about recordings' problem you're having. Simply uninstall the MediaPortal Web Control app on your computer, then install this version.

    The link is:
    http://members.dinkum.net.au/plai33/MPWebControlSetupR31.exe

Hope this works! (Sorry, I still haven't upgraded my MP version so I can't use it - needs MP 0.1.0.10).

p.s. klestor: can you remove my full name from your previous post (just edit that bit out); thanks.

Thanks Sam! it works well, sorry for the late reply..

Just have to start by saying thank you for this great plugin.
But... there are 2 things that i would like to se in the future.

    1. Being able to specify the port to run the webinterface on otherwise it would collide with my webserver.

    2. Have the option to specify the order of the channels in the Guide page.

first to say, great work with the webplugin,
i have the same problem like cojo.
on port 80 is another webserver running. how can i change the port,
i have changed the port in httpd.conf to 81, and restarted the apache, but he only asks me for password on localhost:81 and then nothing happens:-(
i have also tried other ports, but still the same...

would be nice if so could tell me whats wrong in this config.

    thx
