i tried the wap with my nokia 6310i an became no connect.
i tried it with the "r3g Nokia 6310 Simulator" (a wap tool for your desktop)
an all works fine. but when i activate the password protection the wap tool says"you need authentification to enter this site" (or something similar to this). can i submit username and passwort in the url ?
in both (the nokia and the wap tool) i typed in the url like this:

http://xxx.no-ip.com:81/wap/

You could try to use this;
It works for the normal pages, i dont know if wap can do it

It works for FTP:// not http:// but good suggestion anyhow'

Works in firefox for me

With my Nokia 6230 it works just fine, I am asked the user name and password to log in. You're sure that there is no way to input this data on your mobile phone?

This feature was removed from IE some time ago due to a critical vulnerability ;) .

    Enhancement request for MPW

    Hi All,

I'm a newbee in using MPW, not mediaportal, and have come across a small problem which I think can be worked around if its implemented as an enhancement to MPW.
I selected tvgids.nl als my primary source for my dutch channels but a friend of mine told me that might get better resolution if I choose a different website for some channels so I went ahead a found that 1-xmltv.radiotimes.com has a 14days schedule, Great.
But then I noticed something, all times are ofcourse relative to its own country, in this case the BBC channels are all, at the moment, GMT+1, but I live in the Netherlands where it is GMT+2 ;-(
All times in the resulting EPG for the BBC channels are one hour off.
The enhancement could be that in the xml file for that channel it is noted the offset to GMT and that WebEPG uses that together with the windows GMT setting to adjust times before generating tvguide.xml.

Good idea or am I rambling?

    Joop

I installed latest cvs and web interface on my pc. I worked fine.

So I installed it on my htpc, but when I try webinterface I get the same error as before.
But now I know that I cant activate the "home" on external control plugin.
I activate it, click ok, go back in to setup and it is deactivated.

I tried to reinstall everything with no luck.

Do I have to reinstall winxp as wel?
    Realy dont want to.
