more edit: Found out that this could be a problem if you are using .net framwork 2.0 but i did not have this but an older version. Tried uninstalling it and install mp but it require .net so I installed .net v. 1.1 and reinstalling mp.
Stil the same result. Very strange.. Installed it on 3 computers and one of them worked one time.
Maby I wil just wait for rc2 release.

I only get error when i try webinterface.

Important!!! Due to a problem with MP's plugin handling in 0.2 RC1 MPW is not recognized correctly. After installing MPW you have to start MP's configuration and go to the plugins section. Here activate the checkbox for "Home" at the "External Control Plugin II for MP". You just need to do it once. After this you can continue here.

I noticed that when I uninstall, not everything is removed, so I tried to remove it manualy but that did not help.

Before I installed it on my htpc I removed it from my pc.
I tried to install it once again on my pc, but now I have the same problem here.

It looks like its something happening when I reinstall.
Sometimes when I install webinterface I am asked to install apache(2)
Like its an apache nr 1 in my machine from previously installed webinterface. I have tried to revome apache from add/remove before I reinstall, but I dont remember if that made the program ask for apacha instead of apashe (2)

I wil try some more now, I was wery tired last night. Stay up to late with mediaportal and my nefue (my brothers kid) is waking me up to watch donald.


edit: I forgot, I use the latest cvs.

Edit2: Removed everything, apache mp mpweb and everything about mp in regedit.
Reinstalled in the folowing order:

mp
cvs
mpw (asked for apache2 to be installed)

The home option wil stil not be activated.
One new thing I noticed was 2 apache services when I press ctrl alt del.

I wil try de deactivate one of them.

another edit:
There where 2 apache services in ctrl alt del. 44xxx bytes and 18 xxx bytes. I tried do deactivate 18xxx bytes. No luck.
I tried to start apache manualy in file management- services.

I found only one apache service there called apache2. I tried to start the service and i got an error.
I lokked in the log and it said the log could not be opned.
I deactivated the second 44xxx bytes apache, and tried again, and then I could start apache service.

That would not help.
I went back in to file management beacouse there are apache error logs from previous.
Then I noticed a new error after the error without log:
this one had a log:

As I wrote last - does it work in Internet Explorer or FireFox ?

If it does work there - then please send me your tvdatabase file.

BTW the web remote doesn't seem to be working well, I get this error:

WebEPG is an EPG fetching program - this is MPW - Media Portal Webinterface - sooo yes, you must set the Padding start and stop in MPW.

Please beaware of the differences of WebEPG and MPW!

Sorry, I meant the padding in the Media Portal setup . When I schedule recordings using Media Portal they start 10 minutes ahead, and stop 30 mins after.
