I've upgraded MPW and WAP now works like it should, even when there is an "&" in the title. :)

However, why did you decide to change the WAP GUI to these drop-downs or menues or whatever they are? On my cell phone (SE K750) it is now very difficult to navigate to a program. For each selection I have to press three or four buttons!

First I have to press "choose" to open a submenu to display all channels, then navigate to the right channel, then press "more..." button, then find "Next" option in menu, then press "OK..." button. And that's just to select a channel!

Is this working better on another cell phone WAP browser or something?

    Thanks for a fantastic plugin, I got the web interface working very easily. But I had some problems with the WAP version, similar to some of the earlier postings with an ampersand in the text.

    So I've updated to the latest CVS build (I think), but it gives me:

    Code:
    XML Parsing Error: not well-formed Location: resource://gre/res/hiddenWindow.html Line Number 48, Column 28:

    <option value="12">0) Men & Motors</option>
    ---------------------------^
    I setup an account on Mantis and tried the updater, this says "Latest version installed". Info is here:

    Code:
        * Current Version .: 0.3.2
        * Current Build .: 2005_11_07_19_45
        * Current Language .: English

        * Current Webservice version .: 1.0.2067.40040
        * Current ECP2Assembly.dll(running within MediaPortal) version .: Object id #10
        * Current ECP2Assembly.dll(running within the Webservice) version .: Object id #21
        * Current MPWUpdater version .: 0.1.12

        * Servername.: localhost
        * Current Webserver Version.:
          Apache/2.0.52 (Win32) mod_ssl/2.0.52 OpenSSL/0.9.7c PHP/5.0.3RC2-dev
        * Current Webserver Port.: 81

        * Media Portal Path .: C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal
        * Timeform .: 24h
        * Primetime .: 2015
        * Debug mode .: No
    I extracted the files to the Webscheduler directory, hope that was the right thing to do!

    I also had an error on the data.php about an unexpected ; This seemed to be caused by:
    $defaultPaddingStart = ;
    $defaultPaddingEnd = ;

    So I added zeros to them and it was OK.

    The last problem with data.php is because a bug is present, when changing tv groups....hopefully we'll get an update out soon.

    The first problem...hopefully we'll get an update out soon...got some more things to do - before releasing a newer cvs version.

    I changed the WML so it works better on Sony Ericsson phones (and perhaps on other phones as well), if you are interested I can post it to an FTP server.

    Sure, would be nice to have a look at it! Actually the Lord is our WAP-man, but I'm answering for him this time ;-)

    Hallo Lord Messi,

    Number 1...give me the channel name, date/time and title of the "show" that kills it - and email me, your tvdatabase - then perhaps we can figure it out together....you using msn?

    Number 2 (recording in...) - could you give me some feedback there....what's the error etc...

    Thanks for all the help! The first problem is gone, its just working now. Seems like there have maybe been some old entries in the database which are gone now. (Some of the TV Stations here send the EPG for up to one week ahead). If I browse the next hours and days everything is fine now. Great! :)

    The second thing still remains so fair, I'm gonna contact you on YIM (or you prefer ICQ?), since I'm not using MSN at all.

    Yes indeed, lotsa icons, I always have quite some chaos here on my Desktop, lots of programs, its getting time for a reinstall probably, and I never tend to close any windows ;) Usually Firefox crashes when I've opened about 30 browsers, lets say every 2-4 days ;) Helps keeping it clean. Unfortunately something similar doesnt work with my kitchen, still have to clean that myself. ;)

    best wishes,

    Phil

    OK, basically it's just a quick hack because it was so awkward to choose day and channel on my SonyEricsson phone. I have combined the two so that you can select them easier. I also added a view link since the "View" command gets buried in the Options menu on SonyEricsson phones.
    It looks a bit like this now:

    ----------------------------------
    View Programs
    ----------------------------------
    Channel:
    <18) MTV>
    Day:
    <Tuesday 24.01.2006>
    View programs
    ----------------------------------

    The file index.php is updated and the channels.php is no longer used.
    The file show.php is also updated so the "Back" key doesn't take you to channels.php but to main menu in index.php. I'm going to make more changes to show.php so it goes back to the channel selection if pressing the "Back" key. But as I said, it was just a quick hack.

    Files can be found at http://hem.fyristorg.com/hos/newwml.zip
    Install by making a backup of the files in the wap directory and then replacing them with the ones in the zip archive.

    Hello !

    I use MPW since lots of months, and all were ok. But since few days i don't have the screenshot anymore in the webremote. I have made tests, etc... but noting.

    I have MP RC2 with the last CVS
    i install MPW v. 0.3.2 correctly.
    i install 2005_11_07_19_45 (Includes MPW Updater 0.1.12) correctly
    and i have allowed Apache to interact with the desktop

    All works fine, except the screenshot :cry:

    Have you an idea ?
