yes, please look at default, jQui, and BlueShift to learn. I basically learned by looking at the default skin and I spent a week trying out a few things in semi-psuedo-default skin that i just copied over. I then began jQui and would keep that first skin as a test bed for ideas before I applied it to jQui. Keep in mind i was BUGGING THE $H!T out of @Oxan, @Inker, @DieBagger, @RoChess and a few others. But mainly Oxan... poor fellow, I must have put him thru hell =) That being said keep any questions coming and I will do my best to help out along the way. One of the hardest things is to learn why, when and where to use a particular value/call when you are not involved in the coding of default webMP or your own dll (like jQui). It really is. Much like you asked... is it @movie, @Model, @model, sometimes it is even @Model.move or even @Model.Movie.movie (or something close.. that could be an old style no longer used). While skinning, hop on IRC, get used to maybe having a browser window open for it, or get HydraIRC or another client for a "real" IRC experience. Work on an area, ask a question if you hit a wall. If we are online we will help to answer and you can progress. if not, move on to another area while you wait to hear back from us. Plus, if you are able to leave HydraIRC (or whichever client you want to use) online you will get the benefit of learning from other skinners questions by scrolling back in the client =)
