Not a bug or anything, just a question how to use a feature.

How can I use the webstream virtual card function in MP for streaming video? I'd like to watch internet streams with it, but if I add a channel and want to edit the webstream part of that channel, it is not allowed....

its not that hard,

if you use SQLite Database Browser you can open the file : RelictInternetTVDatabase4.db3 wich was installed with the plugin RelictinternetTV .

( find it under Mediaportal/datbase,(with the new Mp rc1.0 in C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\Anwendungsdaten\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\database (sorry the German path, dont know how its called in english)

then in sqlbroser change to tab: Browse data, in table go to "station" and then you can change the name and the stream adress.....

thats all

it does not have anything to do with mp tv server! (i think)

so if you want to edit the file :RelictInternetTVDatabase4.db3 you have to use SQLite Database Browser !

you get this file with insatallation of relict internet tv....

Could you please be a little more specific?
I think I don't use SQLite, I use Microsoft Database (or whatever). I chose the left one with the installation, that was the Microsoft one. And I don't have a file called RelictInternetTVDatabase4.db3.

Are you saying I first have to switch to SQLite (how?) and also have to install a plugin called relict internet tv (never heard of it, but I will look for it)?

You dont have to switch anything, the file i am talking about is installed with the plugin relict internet tv.

If installed , you can watch russian online television, and some german online tv.(But not in tv-section, it makes a new section called internet tv

But you can use it for your own channels also, but you have to edit the file RelictInternetTVDatabase4.db3.

Could you give an example?
For example a RelictInternetTVDatabase4.db3-file which I can open in my SQLite Database Browser and see what you have done.

...what those fields mean and how they can change? I could't find any manual. Example would be great!

Hi Guys, I've been trying to get the channels working but without any luck. The standalone player of this plugin works great also for Nasa TV, but in MediaPortal when you click one of the channels, the screen flashes once and that's it. It doesn't crash or anything, it just flashes and you can go on about your business after that.
All channels do this. They work in the standalone, not in MP.

I have Vista, anyone else having this problem?
Does anyone who has Vista, has this plugin working?
Does anybody know what is going wrong? Is it a codec thing, do I need another plugin or do I need to change a setting?

By the way,
why is this plugin not in the plugin section of the website???
This plugin can only be found if someone tells you it exists... :s
