Well, this is a setting of MovingPictures and maybe MePo's native video handler, but diabling stacked files:

is something that can only be done in the plugins options. For example, in MovingPictures you would be able able to disable it and it would only reflect there in movies. Unfortunately, the option to disable has not been added to mvC =(

After posting I found the "file stacking" and started reading up on it; the above is exactly what I found.
Considering this feature is not available in mvC, I did discover an alternate. The stacking has basic rules; the ending part has to be in a one letter sequence like 1,2,3 or a,b,c, etc. By switching the ending part to "One", "Two" and "Three", the stacking fails and all discs come up as independent titles. That'll work in mvC.
