What should I focus on next? (1 Viewer)

I'd like:
- true client/server functionality (using a shared database today is a bit buggy)
- Better handling of single files belonging to a series. (Today I have to move the file to the series directory before it is noticed by this great plugin)
- Showing HD, dolby and other logos automatically (my bedroom pc can't handle 720p tv...)

Big thanks for the best and mostly used plugin in my 3+ client system!

I would like the ability to change the season posters within the plugin. I found that using skins that show the large poster image that it becomes more important to change.

if it could run stand alone such that the database can reside on my server and remain up to date. I have a 3 client setup and if I have not run a client for a while, well you can imagine..it has to troll through all the files and this takes time and patience. Something my wife has little of when it comes to computer technology.

Afaik the db-file include all you need.

Share the folder where your MyTV-serie db resides;
\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\database\TVSeriesDatabase<x>.db3 (or any other place you might have it)
Make sure you share it on the computer wich you use the most/the one you run import on the most.

You'd then select that db from all the other machines wich runs MyTV-series. You'd then have all clients connected to the same db, and regardless wich machine you use to update the database from, it would be up-to-date on all.

But yes, a more sophisticated server/client solution would be much better. The above mentioned solution can be a bit "buggy".

the faster mp2 has usable plugins the faster it gets
a) more attention
b) more reference for development
c) gets usable

Instead of going through the effort of rewriting your Newzbin "extra", I would be glad to add a function to My Usenet that would receive the episode information from TV-Series and take care of the searching, etc. That way people without Newzbin accounts would still be able to use that feature with the indexing site they use.

All works for me perfectly now, so this would be my main improvement.

Also MP2 seems a good idea!
