Hello,
when entering basic home editor an error occurs (see screen shot & text file with info).
When I ignore the error and continue the editor starts,
but when I then try to change the background images one of the alternative
images appears very small in the upper left side, that's all.
Could someone help?

HI,

This seems to be moaning about the path to the images, can you post your usermenuprofile.xml (in the main config dir, 'user files' from mpconfig).

Also let me know the full patch you enter for the bg images.

Hi Trevor,

at hand you'll receive my uermenuprofile.xml from which I found two:
1. in C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\Anwendungsdaten\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal -> renamed to usermenuprofile_1.xml here
2. in C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\Anwendungsdaten\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\StreamedMP -> renamed to usermenuprofile_2.xml here

The path to the bg images is
C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\Anwendungsdaten\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\StreamedMP\Media\SMPBackgrounds

hi same problem here...

it was running fine the whole time, interessing thing.. even uninstall and "downgrade" to the last known good is not working...

please help...

okay.. simple solution...

if you open the xml.. I recommend notepad++

there you will see

for example

<entry name="menuitem1folder">music</entry>

in some cases there is instead of the >music< a full path like this

<entry name="menuitem1folder">c:\documentes and settings\all Users\application data\TeamMediaportal\..\music</entry>

You just have to check the file... replace the path with the correct names and it will work again .. at least the bug is fixed ;-))
